Basic Shotgun Instruction (June)
Now is the time to register for the
2009 class. It will be held June 4, 11, 18 & 25
This program is designed to teach students how to safely break
moving
targets. It is the standard NRA Basic Shotgun Shooting
Course.
Age limits are 12-16. The primary requirement is that students
must
be physically capable of handling a shotgun, so students younger
than 12 may be considered on an individual basis.
The club will furnish all materials, guns, and
ammunition. If
a student has a personal gun that fits, it may be used (NO .410s!), and
the club will supply ammunition. The course length
is 10 hours. It will run for four consecutive Thursday nights
from
5:30-8:00pm. We will not be teaching any formal shotgun
games. Successful completion will be
acknowledged
with an NRA certificate.
Get your kids out for a fun course that introduces them to a
safe, fun,
lifetime sport.

Outdoor Airgun Range
The outdoor airgun range provides shooting from
5- and 10-meter firing lines. It is designed to accommodate six
firing
positions, and features mud free gravel firing lines. It was not
designed as an all-weather facility, but will provide lots of fun for
family
outings.
Please staple cardboard backing between the horizontal rails and tape
targets to the cardboard.
